Ordering Wedding Stationery
Where do I start?
The best place to start is by ordering a sample save the date or invitation from the website. This will let you get a real feel for the poppi-ness (is that even a word?) of the stationery, and decide if you'd like to use them as your wedding stationery. Or maybe you've already met me at a wedding show, in which case, you will have already opened a card and maybe even had the pleasure of watching your mum jump as the cubes popped out!
I love the sample! I'd love to place a full order!
Please contact me, either via the Contact page or on email@example.com and let me know what you'd like.
Popping save the dates have one cube inside, but it's up to you to decide on the text colours and wording. Confetti can also be added if you want. Popping wedding invitations have more options - one or two cubes inside, confetti, information cards, etc. You also choose the colours and wording.
When should I place my order?
Please place your order as soon as possible so that I can fit it into my schedule. The popping stationery will be produced and delivered just before the date that you plan to post them to your guests. This is due to the elastic bands that are used to make the cubes pop. If the elastic bands are stretched (as they are when the cubes are inside the invitation) for long periods of time (weeks and months), they may start to lose their elasticity. I want to make sure that the elastic bands are in good condition so that your guests receive the full surprise!
Is there a minimum order?
There is a minimum order of 12 wedding invitations / save the dates. It’s a good idea to order more stationery than you think you are going to need, as things often change at the last moment. It is also nice to keep a few items as mementos of your special day. Whilst every attempt will be made to supply extra items at the last moment, occasionally raw materials become unavailable (and other similar materials may have to be used in their place), or the colours might not be an exact match.
Will I get to see a proof copy?
Proofs will be emailed to you as a pdf file. It is your responsibility to check the details carefully and let me know if you are happy with them or if there are any changes to be made. Revisions / changes can be made on two occasions, after which it may be necessary to charge a small fee to cover the extra design time used. If further changes are required after the proofs have been agreed on, a charge may need to be added to cover the cost of remaking any items that have already been made.
How much will it cost?
Popping save the dates: £6 each, with the option to add confetti for an extra 50p.
One cube inside - £6.50
Two cubes inside - £8
Confetti – 50p
Information card - £1
Once you have returned your order form (which I will email you), a deposit of 50% of the total cost is required. If you order more or less stationery than you have indicated on the form, the remaining balance will be adjusted later. If the total cost is less than £100, 100% should be paid at this stage. I can either email you a PayPal invoice (which can be paid using PayPal or a bank card), set up a custom listing for you on the website, or you can pay by bank transfer.
Can I get a discount if I order lots of save the dates / invitations?
I'm afraid that as I make every order by hand, it's just not possible to offer discounts. Sorry.
What about delivery?
When your order is complete, it will be posted to you using a signed service. Orders of 50 invitations or more may be required to pay a small delivery charge due to the size and weight of the package. This will be advised at the time so that you are not overcharged. Alternatively, local orders can be collected.
Wedding Stationery - General terms and conditions
All of the popping wedding stationery is made from white hammer card which is textured on one side and flat on the other side.
The Paperbuzz logo will be printed on the back of each popping invitation. The colour of the logo will match that of the invitation design.
Please note that slight variations can occur due to the handcrafted nature of this stationery.
All product dimensions should be read carefully so that you understand the size of the product you are ordering. Most of the products are quite small and therefore it may be useful to draw out the size of the product if you cannot visualise its size.
The colours shown on this website may not be an exact match for the colours used on the actual stationery. This is due to differences in monitor settings. If you require an exact colour match you must contact me for a colour sample. This will incur a small charge to cover costs.
In the unlikely event of an order being cancelled, please note that costs incurred up to that date will still be payable. This may be more than the 50% already paid.
If you change your mind after you receive your order, no refund can be given. This is due to the personalisation of the stationery and is in line with the current online selling regulations.
Although popping wedding stationery appeals to everyone, it should not be given to children under the age of three as it is not a toy. Please also think carefully about whether or not the recipient has a health condition for which this type of surprise might not be a good idea. I’m always happy to provide a simple postcard style invitation if necessary.
All prices are subject to change without notice. It will not affect orders that have already been placed.
By placing an order you have read and agreed to all of the information, and terms and conditions above.
