A very special box of letters to help you capture the magic of baby's first Christmas, and a perfect gift for a new parent.

As a parent, you always think that you will always remember all the little details about a special day, but based on my experience, it's really not that easy!

I wish that I had snuggled up with a hot chocolate and written everything down when my girls were little, so that when they asked about their first Christmases, I would be able to show them the letters, photos and mementoes that I'd kept safe over the years.

Inside the personalised box are five origami folded letters, and each letter features a question that will help the parent to describe baby's 1st Christmas.

Open the letters and write about the day: Who shared the day with you? Was it a white Christmas? What was baby's favourite present? Include photos and small mementoes from the day to help make it even more special.

The top of the box is personalised with a name, so that it reads 'Letters for {baby's name} on his / her 1st Christmas'. Please note that a maximum of 10 characters can be used in the name. You can choose to include either a heart or a star icon.

The questions on the letters are:

How was this Christmas different to other Christmases?

Was it a white Christmas?

What part of the day did I enjoy the most?

Who did I share the day with?

What was my favourite present?

Each letter is folded from a single sheet of paper which is slightly smaller than A5.

There is also an instruction sheet to help you fold back up the letters after you have written them, although it is very easy!

If the box is difficult to open, please gently slide a ruler (or something similar) under the lid (from the side) and slowly ease the lid open.

Made from:

Inside the cardboard box, the five letters are made from thick white paper and they are tied with silvery-grey organza ribbon. The text on the box / letters is green and dark red.

In this 1st Christmas gift, the box measures 10.2 x 7.8 x 2.8cm and each letter is approximately 10.1 x 7.4cm when folded up. When opened, each letter is just slightly smaller than A5.
