Encourage your child to write letters of gratitude to the important people in their life. Who would they like to say 'thank you' to?

Gratitude is a feeling of deep appreciation and thankfulness, often towards a person or higher power. As well as making the receiver of your gratitude feel good, there are also many benefits to you, such as improvements to your physical health and self-esteem, and better sleep.

There are five origami folded keepsake letters inside the box. The inside of each letter starts with 'Dear............' and follows with 'I'd just like to say........'. There are printed lines to write on and space at the bottom for the writer to sign their name and draw a little picture if they'd like to.

When writing the letters, your child could think of things such as how they know the person, what special qualities the person has, how the person has helped them, what they like to do together or what they have learned from them. Don't forget to say 'Thank you'!

The finished letters can be decorated and shared with the recipients or they can be kept private and looked back on in the years to come.

The top of the box features the phrase 'Little letters for SPECIAL PEOPLE from {child's name}'.

Each letter is folded from a single sheet of paper which is slightly smaller than A5.

There is also an instruction sheet to help fold back up the letters after your child has written them, although it is very easy!

If the box is difficult to open, please gently slide a ruler (or something similar) under the lid (from the side) and slowly ease the lid open.

Made from:

Inside the cardboard box, the five letters are made from thick white paper and they are tied with silvery-grey organza ribbon.

The box measures 10.2 x 7.8 x 2.8cm and each letter is approximately 10.1 x 7.4cm when folded up. When opened, each letter is just slightly smaller than A5.
