If you've ever been lucky enough to attend the Ollaberry Sunday Teas (in Shetland), you'll know just how special they really are.
I spent my childhood helping out at them on Sundays through the summer, clearing tables, putting fancies (home bakes) onto trays, topping up milk and sugar, folding cake boxes so that people could take extras home with them, and fetching ice cream for the ice cream float drinks. It was brilliant.
This year marks 35 years since they began in the hall, so I decided to do a little something to celebrate it. I've created two prints - 'The Alphabet of Ollaberry Sunday Teas', and a repeating pattern (mirroring how the fancies are displayed on the trays).
They're both A6 (the size of a standard postcard)
Printed onto 160gsm white paper.
They are A6 - approx. 14.8cm x 10.5cm, and are packaged in a glassine bag.
